Are you a seasoned professional looking to lead dynamic projects in the heart of Malvern? We have an exciting opportunity for a Projects Manager/Site Manager to take the reins in planning, managing, coordinating, and controlling projects. While based in our Malvern offices, you'll also have the chance to explore different customer sites, adding adventure to your work routine.
Engineering Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Initiate Projects: Evaluate feasibility, establish budgets, assemble teams, and allocate resources to kickstart projects on the right foot.
- Plan with Precision: Set clear goals, define roles, and create schedules that align with client needs, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Lead and Motivate: Inspire your project team, both internally and externally, to deliver their best work and meet project objectives.
- Manage Effectively: Coordinate project activities, track progress, and keep projects within budget, all while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Mitigate Risks: Identify potential risks and proactively manage them to ensure timely project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Maintain Client Relationships: Keep clients informed of project milestones and timelines, fostering trust and encouraging timely payments.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project outcomes, learn from successes and challenges, and apply insights to enhance future projects.
Engineering Project Manager Requirements:
- Professional Certifications: IOSH, project management certification, and ideally SMSTS.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand technical requirements.
- Problem-Solving Skills: A solution-driven mindset and the ability to make sound commercial decisions under pressure.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
