Overview:

Our client is looking for an experienced professional to join our team as an Electrical Estimator. The role involves accurately assessing the costs of electrical projects, analysing project needs, and preparing thorough bids. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates meet project specs and budget limits.

Electrical Estimator Responsibilities:

• Review project documentation to understand requirements.
• Estimate project costs by calculating quantities and pricing materials accurately.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Develop detailed cost estimates and proposals.
• Identify project risks and opportunities to devise cost-effective solutions.
• Present estimates to clients and participate in negotiation discussions.
• Maintain precise records of estimates and project documents.
• Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements.
• Travel to client sites based around the West Midlands all within an 1 hour radius of the main office.

Electrical Estimator Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in construction or electrical contracting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
• Proficiency in estimating software.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
