iTrent Systems Specialist


Are you an enthusiastic and driven individual with a passion for Human Resources, Payroll and technology? We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and experienced iTrent Systems Officer to join a forward-thinking team.

Initially a FTC role with a possible permanent opportunity available.

Your role will be working collaboratively with the HR, Payrol and IT teams to deliver and efficient and effective systems service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training & Compliance: Ensure effective system usage across the team by providing comprehensive training to staff and managers, ensuring proper recording of HR data such as holidays and sickness. Maintain up-to-date training guides and resources.

  • Efficiency & Automation: Maximise the potential of the iTrent system by streamlining HR processes, ensuring all records are electronic and automated. Drive system improvements based on user feedback and collaborate on system development.

  • Payroll Support: Work closely with HR and Payroll to review terms and conditions for new roles, ensuring proper coding and alignment with payroll. Address technical payroll issues with attention to detail.

  • Data & Reporting: Develop expertise in Business Objects to produce standardised reports. Ensure data integrity across the system, including bulk data input and accurate reporting for KPIs, gender pay gap analysis, and HR metrics.

  • Projects & Developments: Lead key projects to implement new HR modules and explore tools to improve visibility and cost management for budget managers. Innovate through SFTP development to automate report circulation.

  • Supplier Management: Act as the main point of contact with the system provider, managing the relationship, circulating updates, and coordinating system enhancements.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Essential Experience:

    • Proven experience in a similar HR role, with strong understanding of iTrent or similar HR and Payroll systems.
    • Demonstrable experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
    • Ability to develop, manage, and analyse HR reports using Business Objects or similar reporting tools.
  • Desirable Experience:

    • A degree or equivalent qualification.
