Laura Hewett of Hewett Recruitment, and Emma Fishlock of Real World Consultancy have joined forces to create a forum for BCorp organisations across the three counties ( Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire) to connect, exchange knowledge, build meaningful partnerships, and lay the foundation for a mission-driven collective that has the potential to evolve into a BLocal community.
We are aiming the group at business owners/ individuals responsible for overseeing BCorp accreditation within their companies. We're organising an initial get together on November 17th 10am-12pm in Worcester to bring together those who are interested.
During this meetup, Laura and Emma will lead discussions to:
• Introduce all BCorps in the room.
• Explore ways in which we can offer support to each other.
• Work out what we as a group want to get from this forum.
• Determine the frequency, format, structure, and topics for future meetings.
• Discuss the potential of achieving BLocal status as a group.
Our aim is to keep these meetups informal and centred around community-building rather than sales. Participation in our initial meet up would offer valuable insights into what you'd like to see from the group moving forward.
Currently, there are almost 50 BCorp-certified businesses across the three counties so we believe there's substantial potential not only to support one another but also to inspire other businesses to join the BCorp movement.

"The communication from Anthony has been excellent. One thing I appreciated from the start was he outlined how he approached dealing with the Employer/Client. It was made clear that the Employer would be contacted every couple of days for an update. From my perspective there is nothing worse than not knowing what is going on, so to hear this was very positive indeed.
