Accounts Assistant

My client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their small and busy finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase invoices
- Create and send invoices using Xero
- Maintain accurate records and manage monthly creditors lists.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of the purchase ledger and bank accounts.
- Assist with payroll processing, including year-end returns and handling inquiries.
- Manage employee personnel files and ensure compliance with GDPR regulations.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in finance or accounts administration advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero and Sage.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and external partners.
This is an office based role at their rural site based in Malvern so transport is essential.
