My client is a specialist solutions provider of technical monitoring systems that are supplied to a variety of industry sectors. They are seeking new Applications Specialist to join their existing team to generate new business targets, exceed sales targets, provide technical product support and develop and maintain customer relationships.

Applications Specialist Responsibilities.
* Develop and maintain customer relationships.
* Provide technical product support to customers and the wider engineering team.
* Travel to sites across the UK and demonstrate the monitoring system software.
* Follow-up on external and internal sales opportunities.
* Understand the client's specifications and to relays those details to the engineering teams.
* Prepare and issue quotations to clients.

Applications Specialist Requirements.
* Degree or HND in engineering or a related discipline.
* Must possess a valid driver's licence.
* Experience working in a Technical Sales Engineer or Applications positions is essential.
* Cleanroom, pharmaceutical or semi-conductor industry experience would be beneficial.
* Must be willing to travel to sites across the UK and Ireland when required.
* Excellent communication skills are essential
* Must be a team player

Based in Malvern this Applications Specialist opportunity is commutable from Worcester, Hereford, Evesham, Tewkesbury, Droitwich and Cheltenham. This opportunity offers hybrid working if that would be preferred.
