Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Manage purchase ledger invoices, expenses, and credit notes.
- Payment Runs: Prepare and post weekly and monthly supplier payment runs in GBP and other currencies.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier statements and bank accounts, resolving any discrepancies.
- Credit Control: Proactively chase customer payments and manage overdue accounts.
- Sales Processing: Handle sales invoices for trade customers and allocate sales receipts.
- Month-End Support: Assist with accruals, prepayments, and month-end processing leading to management accounts.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an accounts environment.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with Sage, Quickbooks, or Xero is essential; familiarity with Shopify is a bonus.
- Qualifications: Ideally AAT qualified or working towards it, with a solid grasp of finance processes.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills, with a proactive and organised approach to work.
- Team Player: Honest, collaborative, and energetic, ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
