Commercial Financial Analyst

Fixed Term Contract initially (possible permanent opportunity for the right person)

Hybrid working (office based 3 days a week)

Hewett Recruitment are proud to partner with a leading business in their search for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join their dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will take the lead in providing high-quality financial insights and support that will drive strategic decisions and business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Price Hold Process: Lead and manage the price hold process, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the department.

  • PTO Approvals: Oversee the approval of paid time off requests within the Commercial Finance Team.

  • Discount Proposal Signatory: Be the main signatory for all significant discount proposals.

  • Business Case Trackers: Take ownership of tracking and reporting on business cases, ensuring they meet financial expectations.

  • Complex Pricing & Queries: Tackle complex pricing responsibilities and respond to detailed financial queries with accuracy and insight.

  • Non-Merchant Rebate Process: Manage the rebate process, driving efficiency and accuracy across the function.

  • International Reporting: Lead the change in international financial reporting, ensuring global consistency.

  • Board Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports for the board, providing the insights needed to support strategic decisions.

  • Commercial Finance Support: Assist the Commercial Finance Manager with complex analysis and drive impactful decisions across the business.

  • Ad-Hoc Project Analysis: Take on mini-projects and provide analysis to inform business performance and growth.

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified finance professional (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, AAT (level 4) or equivalent (part or fully qual).

  • Strong experience in complex financial reporting, analysis, and pricing.

  • A proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Advanced EXCEL skills including VLookup, formulas etc essential

  • A proactive mindset with excellent communication skills.

  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to solve complex finance-related queries.
