The Role
Compliance Coordinator.
This is a new role created to assist the growing and busy Compliance team within a UK leading manufacturer. If you have a passion for health, safety and environmental compliance and are keen to join an employer who can offer career progression, this could be a brilliant opportunity!
Reporting to the Group Manager, this important role will provide administrative and logistical support to the Compliance Team, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining records, and assisting with various tasks to promote a safe and healthy workplace. You will cover compliance across a range of areas to include health and safety, environment, customer compliance and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Provide general admin support to the compliance team, including organising files, data entry and managing communications through internal systems.
- Help to prepare reports, documents, presentations and safety statistics.
- Ensure all HSE policies, procedures and documents are current and accessible.
- Conduct desktop audits.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Aid in the monitoring and reporting of environmental data.
- Support environmental initiatives, sustainability projects, and customer compliance requirements.
- Support external audits and inspections.
- Monitor compliance related activities and ensure timely reporting.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative role (preferably in HSE or compliance).
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (to include strong excel skills).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to be resilient.
- Experience in a similar compliance role, especially health, safety and environmental highly desirable.
- Any previous auditing experience desirable.
Based Near Kidderminster, Worcestershire.
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.
Salary up to £29,000 depending on experience.
