Export Sales Manager - Environmental Division
Office based in Ledbury / Hybrid working / International travel
Salary - up to £50k (dep on exp)
If you are you a driven and results-oriented sales professional with a passion for international markets, our client is looking for an experienced Export Sales Manager to lead and grow sales for the Environmental Division across global territories (excluding the USA). If you have a proven track record in export sales and a talent for building long-lasting customer relationships, this role could be an exciting opportunity.
Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Driving revenue and profit growth for the Environmental Export Division, exceeding annual sales targets.
- Creating and managing annual sales quotas and objectives for regions and territories.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to maximise sales and maintain healthy profit margins.
- Building strong, long-term relationships with key customers through regular engagement and periodic visits.
- Effectively communicating value propositions through proposals and presentations.
- Launching new products into export markets and identifying strategies to increase sales or market share.
- Maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, documenting all customer interactions and opportunities.
- Providing insights into market size, share, and competitor advancements to support marketing and sales strategies.
Skills and Experience required:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Fluency in French (additional language would also be highly beneficial)
- Proven ability to manage multiple international territories, increasing turnover through customer acquisition and product range penetration.
- Key account management experience with cultural knowledge of territories including France, Belgium, Holland, Ireland, and Australia.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of P&L and gross profit margins.
- Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Proactive, customer-focused, and results-driven.
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM systems.
- Enthusiastic, confident, and dynamic with a positive outlook.
