Part of the Specsavers group, Lens-Online is a state of the art distribution centre situated in Kidderminster. Supplying lenses, frames and contact lenses to Specsavers stores and customers throughout the UK and Europe. Dispatching circa 44,000 orders per day. Employing over 250 people working on a 24/7 basis. 

The purpose-built building spanning over 47000sq feet can hold up to 1.2 million contact lenses, over 1 million frames and around 1.5 million lenses.

Many of the Temporary opportunities at Lens Online have the potential to turn into Permanent placements, with 67 people being taken on permanently in the last 12 months.

Lens Online are a fast growing state of the art production, warehousing and distribution facility who are part of the multi-national Specsavers Group - the world’s largest privately-owned optical group. Lens Online are seeking a number of Warehouse & Assembly Operatives to join their team on a temp-perm basis, with a great training and development programme. This means that many of the temporary job opportunities at Lens Online can lead to permanent employment.

Our Industrial team have built a reputation for supplying good quality and reliable individuals to the companies over a number of years. Kidderminster based Lens Online, who are part of the Specsavers group, rely on Hewett Recruitment to find temporary workers to cover the variety of roles within the organisation.

What are your responsibilities as a Temp at Lens Online?

Warehouse Operative Duties (but not limited to) -

  • Picking from an Order List using an electronic handheld scanner. This can involve, reaching to both floor level and above head level.

  • Packing Products at a fast pace- you will need to be highly dexterous, to assemble packing for the product to be dispatched in.

  • Working to fast-paced targets.

  • Attention to Detail- picking products from barcodes/product numbers, so accuracy is a must.

  • General Warehouse Duties as required.

The work will involve being on your feet for the duration of the shift.​

Register with Hewett

To register as a Temp with Hewett, you should initially call the office on 01562 69090 to book an appointment.

The team will take you through the registration process and show you videos of the environment at Lens Online.

Induction Process

The Hewett Temp team will take you through an induction process that will involve onboarding assessments. The team will carefully guide you through this process, supporting you along the way.

We will fully brief you on the role and what to expect at the Lens Online interview, providing tips and advice.
