Accounts Administrator
Location: Kidderminster
Salary: Dependent on Experience
Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time (25-30 hours per week)
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in accounting, particularly credit control, to take on a standalone role and manage the daily accounting functions.
Whether you're seeking full-time hours or part-time flexibility, this role could be the perfect fit for you. The successful candidate will receive full training and support, and occasional travel to Head Office may be required to build relationships with colleagues across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
Credit Control: Managing customer accounts, chasing overdue payments, reviewing credit limits, and liaising with the sales team.
Sales & Purchase Ledger: Processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and managing cashbooks.
General Administration: Managing petty cash, posting monthly journals, and supporting ad hoc projects.
What We're Looking For:
2-3 years of accounting experience, particularly in credit control and ledgers.
Strong communication skills and a team player mentality.
A keen eye for detail, with good Excel skills.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and offer process improvements.
