Part time Personal Assistant to the Principal and Senior Leadership Team (SLT)

Duration: 12 months - Fixed Term initially

(Term time only plus five additional days in holidays)

Pro Rata Salary: £17,370 - £18,614 (TTO + 5 days)

Position Overview:

As the Personal Assistant to the Principal and SLT, you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the Principal's office. You will be an experienced PA, Executive Assistant, or high-level administrator who is resilient, patient, well-organised, and an excellent communicator. This role requires discretion and a high level of confidentiality, as you will handle highly sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and developmental support to the Principal.
  • Take minutes of meetings, including SLT Operational meetings, Health and Safety Working group, and Parent Forum, acting as secretary where appropriate and ensuring timely follow-up of actions.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the Principal's office, including diary and email management, meeting arrangements, travel bookings, event organization, and full administrative support.
  • Support other members of the SLT, encouraging the use of technology and systems to facilitate their own administrative independence.
  • Ensure the smooth management of the Principal's routine affairs and most effective use of time.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for routine internal and external inquiries on all matters pertaining to the Principal.
  • Handle sensitive and complex issues professionally and objectively, understanding how and with whom to escalate.
  • Assist in the organization of important College events such as Celebration Day and student recruitment events.
