Product Owner
Location: Flexible/Remote

We are seeking a talented Product Owner to join our team and play a key role in maximising the value our products for both our customers and the business.

The Role:

As a Product Owner, you will:

  • Represent product features and stories within the development team, advocating for the customer's voice throughout the delivery process.
  • Collaborate with various business teams to drive customer advocacy and support product delivery.
  • Define and maintain a prioritised backlog of user stories, ensuring clear specifications for the development team.
  • Work closely with the development team to plan sprints, refine backlog items, and lead requirements gathering.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, removing impediments, and ensuring the successful implementation of product features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for the vision and voice of the customer across each product feature/story.
  • Develop detailed specifications and acceptance criteria for product features/stories.
  • Lead requirement gathering, sprint planning, and participate actively in agile ceremonies.
  • Document new features, demonstrate product iterations, and capture feedback.
  • Collaborate with non-technical teams to support new projects and ensure smooth communication.
  • Work closely with marketing to maximise product awareness and coverage.

What You'll Need:

  • Certified Agile Product Owner
  • Strong experience in Agile, Scrum methodology, and practices as a Product Owner.
  • Experience in the Insurance and Broking industry, with a solid understanding of policy administration systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps or JIRA.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
