Product Specialist - Disability & Mobility Products

Are you passionate about working with innovative products that make a real difference to people's lives? Our client is looking for a Product Specialist to join our Sales & Marketing team, responsible for managing new product launches and supporting the growth of their Disability and Mobility products across the UK, Europe, and beyond.

This will initially be a field- based role (50/50 split) between time spent in the field to learn and understand the products and working with the team in the office to drive product success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Launch Management: Oversee new product launches in the UK and support European and Global product introductions in the disability and mobility sector.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of existing products and identify growth opportunities within the product portfolio.
  • Pricing & Development Strategies: Recommend pricing strategies for both retail and NHS channels for new and existing products, in collaboration with the Commercial Manager.
  • Support Sales Targets: Work closely with the UK sales team to help achieve and exceed annual revenue and profit targets.
  • Sales Data Analysis: Analyse monthly sales data and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance.
  • Market & Competitor Intelligence: Conduct research into market trends and competitors, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Product Benchmarking: Carry out product benchmarking against competitor offerings to ensure competitive edge.
  • Training & Development: Deliver product training to internal associates and customers, both in small and large group settings.

Skills and Experience

  • A background in sales, product management, or a related field.
  • Strong presentation skills with experience delivering training or product demonstrations.
  • A flexible approach, willing to occasionally spend nights away from your home base.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Product/Technical Understanding: A keen interest in or hands-on experience with mobility and disability products.
  • Car driver with a clean driving license.

Based in Herefordshire, the successful candidate will need to be within commutable reach of the office as well as being prepared to travel as required.

Salary - £35k - £41k (depending on experience)
