Job description
The Role
Working in a small, friendly team, as part of a professional estate agency committed to providing exceptional service to their clients. Currently seeking a dedicated and highly organised Secretary to support the team in ensuring the smooth running of all operations.
As a Secretary, you will play a key role in providing administrative support to the valuers and wider team. Your responsibilities will include typing property brochures and meeting minutes via dictation, preparing files for appointments, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and handling general PA duties.
Responsibilities
- Audio Typing: Transcribe dictation for property brochures, meeting minutes, and letters with accuracy and efficiency.
- File Preparation: Organise and prepare necessary documents for property valuations and client appointments.
- Compliance Checks: Ensure all files meet regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date records.
- Correspondence: Draft and type letters, emails, and reports as required.
- Diary Management: Schedule and manage appointments for valuers.
- General PA Duties: Provide administrative support, including responding to enquiries, and occasionally liaising with clients.
- Office Organisation: Maintain an orderly and efficient filing system, both digital and physical.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role, ideally within an estate agency or property sector.
- Excellent audio and copy typing skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A proactive and professional approach to work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.
Salary dependant on experience.
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
