The Role

Service Manager

Are you an experienced aftersales professional with a background in commercial vehicles or plant hire? Do you have a track record of successfully leading customer-facing teams? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We're looking for a Service Manager to join an established, successful and growing business in Worcestershire, overseeing a skilled team of engineers and office staff to deliver outstanding service to all of their valued customers.


Responsibilities

  • Driving revenue growth through an effective sales and service process.
  • Championing our exceptional customer care across the industry.
  • Managing workshop and mobile service engineers, ensuring top-quality repairs and servicing.
  • Leading an internal support team to deliver excellent core services.
  • Increasing parts sales by proactively supporting customer needs.
  • Visiting customers as required (full UK driving licence essential).
  • Overseeing the warranty claim process.
  • Managing KPIs, reports, budgets, and departmental targets.
  • Continuously improving service levels and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Strong aftersales experience in commercial vehicles or plant hire.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing customer-facing teams.
  • Ability to drive sales and service improvements.
  • Hands-on approach with a passion for customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong administration skills.

Based in Worcestershire. Full time, permanent position Monday to Friday.

Salary circa £50,000.
Car allowance £6,000 per annum.
Profit related bonus.
