The Role

As part of the Supply Chain team, the Buyer will manage end-to-end procurement, ensuring the timely delivery of essential materials for the manufacturing business. You'll play a vital role in negotiating with suppliers, maintaining cost-effective operations, and enhancing supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage supplier selection strategies.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery, and payment terms with key suppliers.
• Review and process purchase orders to meet business requirements.
• Maintain and implement cost reduction strategies aligned with business goals.
• Ensure system integrity through effective purchasing processes.

About You

You're results-oriented, detail-driven, and equipped with a solid understanding of the procurement cycle. Your expertise in relationship-building will ensure optimal performance from suppliers.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2-3 years of experience in a procurement role, ideally within manufacturing, oil & gas, or automotive sectors.
• Understanding of custom restrictions, Free Trade Agreements, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Ideally, CIPS Level 4 certification (training can be provided).
• Strong emotional intelligence and commitment to high standards.
