They are now seeking a Head of Software Development to lead and inspire a dynamic team of engineers and Agile professionals. This role is critical to driving the evolution of their cloud-native system and digital products. The Head of Software Development will oversee multiple software teams, steering the development process to ensure the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused solutions.

Head of Software Development Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a number of software development teams, consisting of 75-85 IT professionals, in order to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in software development practices, particularly within a public Cloud environment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management and Architecture teams to align development plans with market needs.
• Maintain high standards of quality and performance throughout the product lifecycle, minimizing customer disruption.

Head of Software Development Skills:

• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing established software development teams of at least 50 people.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and cloud-based technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of inspiring and motivating teams.
• Experience in using data and metrics to drive continuous improvement in software development.
