Online Sales & Business Development Manager

If you're passionate about leading eCommerce growth, driving digital transformation, and optimising online sales strategies, our client is looking for an experienced and dynamic Online Sales & Business Development Manager. You will lead and optimise the Direct to Customer (DTC) website strategy, driving sales growth and enhancing customer journeys across multiple platforms, including DTC and Amazon. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of eCommerce strategies for a market leader in mobility products, in a role that combines strategic thinking, digital marketing expertise, and cross-functional collaboration.

Some key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Lead eCommerce Strategy: Take ownership of the existing eCommerce platform, driving profitable revenue growth through digital and online sales. Ensure a competitive pricing strategy that complements traditional sales channels.
  • Optimize User Experience: Monitor website performance and work to continuously enhance customer experience, conversion rates, and profitability through website and platform improvements.
  • Digital Marketing Ownership: Own the D2C marketing strategy across all channels, from paid social and search to retention, ensuring a high ranking on search engines like Amazon and Google.
  • Explore New Sales Opportunities: Research and identify new market opportunities, trends, and products. Drive product launches, and collaborate with global sourcing teams to bring new, competitive products to market.
  • Manage Digital Infrastructure: Collaborate with IT and marketing teams to maintain a seamless, high-performance website, ensuring an exceptional online shopping experience. Ensure operational efficiency across customer service, finance, and operational teams.
  • Exploring and implementing procedures or changes: look at the most effective way products are logistically managed internally internally and distributing quickly DTC.
  • General Admin: Review customer complaints and warranty claims, provide data-driven monthly reports, and create action plans for continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in DTC eCommerce, ideally within a high-growth brand.
  • Proven ability to manage product launches and website optimisation.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing practices across Paid Social, Paid Search, and Retention.
  • Experience with eCommerce tools such as Shopify and Google Analytics, with a focus on using data and KPIs to drive performance improvements.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to lead initiatives from conception to execution.
  • Experience in international supply chains, ideally with multiple market and localisation experience.
  • Proactive and tenacious

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of DTC mobility or medical products.
  • Experience in Amazon or retail sales.
  • Product management experience.
  • Sales experience within a medical product manufacturer.

Our client is offering the option of hybrid working with visits to offices in Ledbury and Brierlely Hill as required.

Salary up to £55k (depending on experience)
